Fare Types
Interislander offers three basic adult fares types to those resident in New Zealand or Australia: Easy Change, Saver Change and Web Saver. Each has their own set of terms and conditions.
Both the Easy Change and Saver Change Fares are also available to those booking from outside New Zealand or Australia.
Easy Change fares
These are our most flexible fares, allowing you to cancel your trip right up to the time of check-in, without any penalty fees.
Saver Change fares
These are our mid range fares, available in greater numbers. Saver Change Fares incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Web Saver fares
These are the best value fares across Cook Strait, but they are non-refundable.
All fare types are subject to availability, and all allow you to change sailings, provided you advise us prior to check-in. Where the same priced fare is not available, an upgrade payment will be required.
Infants and Children
Infants (under 2 years of age) travel free of charge.
Children (between 2 and 17 years of age) travel at a reduced fare.
Please note that infants and children under 15 years of age cannot travel unaccompanied. To book an unaccompanied child aged 15, 16 or 17, please call 0800 802 802.
Group Bookings
Groups of 10 or more may be eligible for a group discount. Enquiries should be made to our Group Desk (phone 0800 878 898 within New Zealand).
Top 10 Club Card Discount
If you have a Top 10 card, please contact our Customer Service Centre, on 0800 802 802, to arrange your discounted booking.
