Aratere offers a variety of entertainment options to suit all ages, tastes and moods.
Cinema (Deck 4)
Relax and view a recent release movie in the onboard cinema. Tickets are available from the Shop/Reception on Deck 4.
Video Games (Deck 4)
Video games, for children of all ages, can be played on Deck 4.
Bands
Local bands perform occasionally in the forward lounge on Deck 4.
Food and Beverages
Aratere features a range of food and beverage options.
Food Court (Deck 4)
Offering:
- Local wines, and beers
- Coffee, tea and hot chocolate
- Full meals (available at peak times)
- Light meals, including paninis, pies and hot dogs
Espresso coffee is available from the Bar on Deck 4
Children’s Facilities
We have a range of activities to entertain your little ones.
Children’s Corner (Deck 4)
The Children’s Corner is a safe and fun play area for the little ones. The Play Area includes a television showing the Disney Playhouse Channel.
Nursery (Deck 4)
A quiet nursery, which includes cots and baby change facilities, is available near to the Children’s Corner.
Ship Ahoy Activity Book
This is available free from the Shop/Reception on Deck 4.
Seating and Observation Decks
Smoking
Smoking is only permitted onboard Aratere on both the Port (left) and Starboard (right) sides, Deck 4 - under the lifeboats.
Outdoor Observation Decks
Take in the magnificent scenery on our open decks and outdoor seating areas. Aratere features a stunning forward viewing deck, as well as sunny areas on Decks 5 and 6.
Workstations (Deck 5)
Desks are available for those passengers wishing to do a little work, or who require a space to use their laptops.

Visit our friendly staff for information and EFT-POS facilities (limited cash withdrawal available), as well as cinema tickets, phone cards, newspapers, magazines, confectionery, souvenirs, postcards and stamps.
