Transport connections
After disembarking from your Interislander ferry at the Picton terminal, there are a number of ways in which to continue your journey.
Train
Passengers travelling by the TranzCoastal train should make their way to the train station by foot (approximately a 4 minute walk), following the footpath outside the ferry terminal.
Walking
For those on foot, Picton town centre is just a few minute's walk.
Backpackers/Hotels/Motels/Accommodation
For those staying locally, many accommodation providers offer a pick-up service (if pre-arranged).
Water Taxis
Similarly, if pre-arranged, most water taxi companies can also pick-up from the terminal jetties.
Taxis
A taxi stand is conveniently located outside the terminal. If there are no taxis waiting, terminal staff will order one for you.
Buses/Shuttles
A bus/shuttle stop is also located at the ferry terminal. Tickets can be purchased from the drivers, or in advance from the information centre (approximately 300m from the Interislander terminal). Please note that Picton does not have an around town bus service , and that bus services stop after 6pm.

Rental Cars
A wide range of rental car companies are located directly outside the terminal.
