Foot-Passenger Check-In & Terminal
The foot-passenger terminal is located at the end of Auckland Street (SH1) and can be reached by a short walk from the town or train station. Buses, water taxis and taxis all drop-off directly outside the terminal and most hotels and backpackers in the area will organise transport on request.
For foot passengers arriving by car, there is a short-term car-park at the terminal for drop-off and disabled parking bays immediately outside the terminal doors. A long-term car park is situated on Auckland Street approximately 300m south of the terminal.
If you are taking a vehicle on-board, then you must go to the Vehicle Check-In, which is located 200m south of the terminal on Auckland Street.
From the 13 June 2016, the vehicle check will be accessed from Auckland Street, Picton, on the left side of the road as you approach the terminal building in the area that was formally rail sidings to the north of Picton Railway Station. GPS coordinates are -41.287198, 174.004707 or you can click on the "directions" icon on the map to open up google maps and gain directions. The new facility will be clearly signposted leading off SH1 onto Kent Street, then east along Dublin Street (past the old check-in), then north again along Auckland St.
From the Train station to the Terminal
Passengers arriving by Coastal Pacific train should make their way from the train station to the Interislander Check in terminal by foot (approximately a 4 minute walk). Cross the road from the train station to the i-site, turn left and follow the blue line to the Interislander main doors

Port of Marlborough operate a long term "Pay and Display" parking area on Auckland Street, near to Picton Railway Station. The car park costs $1 per hour or $6 per day. When the long-term car-park is full, the southernmost bay of the short-term car park can be used instead (buy your ticket from the machine in the Long Term Car Park)
From the long term car-park, it is a short walk north on Auckland Street or follow the harbour-side path north. Click here for directions:
