Nourish yourself for the journey ahead, tuck into your favourite foods sourced from the Wellington and Marlborough regions.  Enjoy drinks and snacks with friends or a full wine-matched dining experience in the Premium Lounge. Arrive revitalised, ready to continue your journey.

We aim to showcase the best of our home region’s renowned food and drink from locally roasted Laffare Coffee, to freshly baked goods, Marlborough Sounds salmon, and Wellington-crafted beers like Garage Project and Parrot Dog.

Each ship offers different places to eat, drink or dine depending on the time of day. You might be looking for coffee and snacks from Hector’s Cafe, a more substantial meal in the Ocean View Eatery, a drink and light meal in the Island Bar or an all-inclusive experience in the Premium Lounge.

Changing with the seasons

As the seasons change, so do our menus, ensuring that each meal is crafted with the freshest locally sourced ingredients available. Our grab and go meals are prepared for each sailing in our Wellington-based kitchen with others being assembled onboard.

Here’s a sample of our current menu, inspired by “a taste of home.

Grab-and-go

After a quick snack, or a Marlborough Sounds sunset picnic on the observation deck? Our grab-and-go range of items are fast, fresh and delicious and cater for a variety of dietary needs. Pick up a hearty sandwich, tasty butter chicken pie or a crunchy veggie-filled poke bowl.

“The food was delicious and so was the coffee.”

Did someone say Scone O’Clock?

You might catch a sailing with our famous scone trolley. The crew will bring the trolley to you, enjoy a warm scone with butter, jam or cream (or cream and jam, whatever you fancy). A tasty morning or afternoon tea.

"The scone trolley was a lovely gesture and the crew farewell was a throwback to the grand days of ship travel."

Keeping it local in the bar

Supporting local producers is important to us, which is why we proudly feature a choice of beers and wines from the Marlborough, Wairarapa, and Wellington regions. You’ll find Hop Federation Beer and Tohu Wine from mana whenua partners Kono Beverages in our fridges. Try something different on board and find a new kiwi favourite as you take in the serene beauty of the Marlborough Sounds from the Island Bar.

Please note, all food and beverage options are subject to availability and can differ by vessel.
