Absolutely! We suggest reaching out to your rental car agent when making the booking, as some rental companies such as Hertz, Thrifty, Avis, Budget, and EuropCar may not allow their cars onboard. However, customers can drop off their rental cars at the terminal and pick up a new vehicle at the destination. Please note that all rental campervans and caravans are always OK to travel, regardless of company.

Yes, they can! Our 8:45am ferry from Wellington and 2:15pm ferry from Picton both connect seamlessly to and from the Coastal Pacific train. Contact your scenic team to book this.

Certainly. We offer three fantastic lounge options.

The Premium Lounge provides an all-inclusive experience and is exclusively for adults, available on all three ships.

The Queen Charlotte Lounge, also child-free, includes a $15 NZD food and beverage voucher and offers airplane-style seating, available only on Kaitaki.

Additionally, we have the family friendly Pelorus Jack Lounge, also exclusive to Kaitaki, which includes a light buffet and snacks for your clients' journeys. You can find more details about our lounges here:
